Short version: we look things up for you and don’t keep a record of it.

Registration searches

When you enter a registration it is sent to the DVSA MOT history API and the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service so they can return the vehicle’s record. Both agencies log API calls under their own privacy notices. We don’t save the registration, the result, or link either to you.

Station searches

A postcode or town you type is sent to postcodes.io to turn it into coordinates. If you press “Use my location” your browser asks permission first and the coordinates are used once, for that search.

Server logs

The hosting platform records the IP address, page requested and time for each request, for security and capacity planning. These are kept for a short period and then deleted.

Cookies and analytics

The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising trackers. If that changes this page will say so before it happens.
