  1. AVEO, CRUZE, ORLANDO, TRAX · chevrolet takata driver’s airbag

    4 Feb 2025 · R/2025/036

On affected vehicles the chemicals in the Takata airbags may deteriorate over time which may cause the inflator to rupture and lead to serious injury.

Fix: Exchange affected airbag modules as a precautionary measure.

  2. TRAX · the brake pedal may potentially stick as a result of high vehicle interior temperatures

    14 Apr 2021 · R/2021/125

The brake pedal may potentially stick as a result of high vehicle interior temperatures causing the brake lights to activate without brake pedal pressure.

Fix: To reprogram the electronic brake control module (EBCM) to enable a warning message to display.

    783 vehicles · built 10 Dec 2012 to 3 Mar 2014

  3. TRAX · front seat lap belt pre-tensioner may not function as intended

    17 Jul 2015 · R/2015/125

The front seats are equipped with lap and shoulder belt pretentioners. In certain head on or rear end collisions the lap belt pretentioner will deploy but not lock in the loaded position. This can increase the risk of injury when the conditions are met. Parts for the recall will not be available until October 2015.

Fix: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace both front pretentioners with lap belt.
