    The lap belts fitted to the passenger seats may have incorrectly manufactured inertia reels. As a consequence a seat belt may not lock in a collision.

    Fix: Check the batch number of each seat belt and fit a quality assured replacement where necessary.

    The propellor shaft fitted to a specific number of vehicles may fracture at certain high rotation frequencies.

    Fix: Affected vehicles are being recalled for the fitment of a quality assured replacement propellor shaft.

    On a small number of vehicles the front axle offside and nearside track rod lever bolts are of incorrect quality and could fail which could lead to the track rod lever coming adrift.

    Fix: Recall affected vehicles and fit quality assured replacement bolts.

    The steering lock barrel retaining pin may become displaced and cause the steering lock to engage. Should the lock barrel come out of its housing directional control would be affected.

    Fix: The steering column lock will be secured with the addition of a retaining clip.

  5. 55 SERIES · possible separation of brake disc from front hub

    The bolts securing the disc to the front hub are of incorrect quality and could fail with the result of the brake disc being no longer secured to the hub.

    Fix: Replace all suspect bolts with improved version.

    On a small number of vehicles incorrect brake actuators may be fitted to the front axle brakes.

    Fix: The affected vehicles are being recalled to have the brake actuators inspected. Any incorrect units will be replaced with the correct type.
