CANTER · engine may stall
5 Nov 2014 · R/2014/104
On affected vehicles; Debris form manufacture may be present in the valve block which controls clutch operation and gear selection. This can lead to the clutch not being operated wrong or no gear selection. It is also possible that the engine may stall.
Fix: Recall vehicles and flush the oil in Duotornic clutch circuit.
1,629 vehicles · built 15 Oct 2011 to 23 May 2013
CANTER · transmission oil may leak
1 Aug 2014 · R/2014/082

CANTER · seat belt may not perform correctly
10 Jun 2014 · R/2014/053
It is possible that a securing rivet for the inertia reel of the seat belt may work loose. With regular usage this may result in noise development with increased play and in the worst case no restraint function being present which leads to a safety risk for the driver should a collision occur.
Fix: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the seat belt.

CANTER · loss of drive
7 Dec 2012 · R/2012/124
The mounting clamps at the oil lines from the Duonic transmission have been found to be attached incorrectly on certain vehicles. Therefore it is possible an oil line could detach during vehicle operation due to the faulty assembly of the clamps. If the vehicle is used regularly under these circumstances the detachment of the oil hose from the tube may result in automatic transmission fluid escaping. This makes further gear shifting impossible and will make it impossible to drive further.
Fix: Replace the mounting clamps at the oil line.

CANTER · fire may occur
22 Jun 2011 · R/2011/004
On vehicles with anti-lock brake systems it is possible that the earth of the ABS hydraulic unit to corrode. In the worst cases this could cause the hydraulic motor to run continuously causing the motor to overheat or the corrosion could cause some heat development at the terminal to the ABS hydraulic unit and start a fire.
Fix: The recalled vehicles will have the earth line for the ABS hydraulic unit replaced and if necessary replace the corroded connector and/or ABS hydraulic unit on all affected vehicles
