    The flanged wheel nuts may have been over-torqued.

    Fix: Inspect all wheel studs and replace if necessary. Update the user manual.

    The passenger airbag inflator housing may rupture due to excessive internal pressure during normal airbag deployment events. This could result in an increased chance of occupant injury during certain crash conditions.

    Fix: Replace air bag inflator on affected vehicles

  5. RAM · rear axle may seize

    The rear axle pinion nut has been assembled without the use of a thread adhesive which could allow the pinion nut to loosen. As a result the propshaft detach form the vehicle or the final drive could seize.

    Fix: On affected vehicles check security of pinion nut. Dependant on outcome fit a pinion nut retainer or recondition final drive assembly.
