  3. 990 SUPERDUKE · sticking of one way valve in engine ventilation system

    27 May 2005 · RM/2005/010

The possibility exists that a one way valve within the engine breather system may stick. Should this occur there is the possibility that the crankcases could pressurise which may result in oil seals failing allowing oil to escape from the engine. there is also the possibility that some oil could make its way onto the road wheels and tyres.

Fix: Recalled machines will have the crankcase breather valve reworked to a new specification.
