    The track rod adjuster in the track rod tube may not have been correctly positioned prior to clamping. This could result in the clamping force on the adjuster being insufficient. In the worst case detachment of the track rod could occur and cause a loss of steering control.

    Fix: Check the position of the track rod end adjuster and reposition it to comply with the specification where found necessary.

    Under certain operating conditions the front axle brake chamber clamp bolt could foul the brake pipe elbow fitting where it passes through the chassis frame.

    Fix: Recall the affected vehicles and rotate the brake chamber clamp bolts through 90 degrees so that they are retained in the vertical position.
