E-TRANSIT · 25sd9 - e-transit – halfshaft retention force
7 Apr 2026 · R/2026/031
On affected vehicles left-hand rear half shafts were not fully seated into the electric drive assembly which may result in premature wear and a leak. This may eventually lead to a loss of motive power or unintended vehicle movement while the vehicle is in Park (if the parking brake is not applied).
Fix: Check with a gauge disassemble and check further if necessary. Replace parts if required.
