  1. FLEXAIR 9000 · incorrect airspring support plate

    A small batch of semi-trailers were supplied with an incorrect airspring support plate. This could result in a reduction in trailer roll performance.

    Fix: The operators of the subject semi-trailers are being advised of the situation and supplied with correctly specified airspring support plates for retro-fitment to the trailer suspension. Operators to advise ROR when the plates have been fitted.

  2. TE 9000 · hub bearing integrity

    The hub bearings in some TE 9000 axles may be liable to premature failure. If not detected this could result in hub seizure or wheel and hub detachment.

    Fix: Supply sufficient replacement hubs and bearings to all operators of affected trailers and monitor the return rate of displaced units to ensure full coverage of the vehicle parc.

    The weld attaching the stub axle to the suspension arm may fail resulting in collapse and displacement of the suspension

    Fix: Recall the affected semi-trailers and replace the suspension arms with quality assured examples.
