    The adhesive used to fix the circuit board to the outer casing of the regulator/rectifier may have been affected by moisture. Due to the insufficient adhesion the heat generated can cause the circuit board to deform and lift away from the case. This condition causes excessive heat and uncontrolled electric current output which can result in the poor charging to the battery battery discharge the engine stalling and or a No-start condition.

    Fix: Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the regulator rectifier.

Due to the insufficient adhesion the heat generated can cause the circuit board to deform and lift away from the case. This condition causes excessive heat and uncontrolled electric current output which can result in the poor charging to the battery. This can cause the battery to discharge and lead to engine stalling and/or a no-start condition.

    Fix: Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and replace the regulator/rectifier.

    Regulator/Rectifier unit may fail in use due to poor adhesion between an internal circuit board and the external heat sink (external casing). resulting in an open circuit and failure. This causes insufficient battery charging current to the battery and can lead to engine stalling and non start when in use.

    Fix: Replacement of all Regulator/Rectifiers in VIN range with quality assured units.
