    A particular batch of injectors may be of poor quality and allow fuel to leak on to the engine with a subsequent risk of fire.

    Fix: Affected vehicles are being recalled to have the subject injectors replaced with quality assured units.

    On some vehicles the bolts in the joint of the steering gear shafts may not be correctly torqued.

    Fix: All potentially affected vehicles are being recalled to have the torque on all the bolts in the four joints in the steering shaft checked and where necessary tightened to the manufacturer's specification.

  3. B10B, B10L, B10M, VON · possible blockage of injection pump control rod

    On a specific batch of fuel injection pump pressure valve retainers the bottom washer may come undone. This would cause the valve to drop on to the pump element and in extreme cases fragments may block the control rod.

    Fix: Recall the affected vehicles for replacement of the original pressure valve retainers with quality assured examples.
