Fix: Recall affected vehicles and modify engine fault warning light so that it will illuminate if a partial pedal circuit failure occurs before any loss of engine speed control is experienced.

Failure of one of two steering arm attachment studs due to securing nut being incorrectly torqued. Continued use of vehicle with failed stud could lead to second stud failing and loss of directional control of the vehicle.
Fix: Contact all affected operators requesting them to carry out torque checks on the six nuts retaining the top steering lever and both bottom steering levers. Any nut/bolt found to rotate more than a quarter of one flat must be renewed.

If a vehicle is operated in a condition where the engine bay temperature becomes excessively hot due to a defect with the vehicle there is a possible risk of damage to air supply pipes and noise insulation material and a possible risk of fire.
Fix: Recall affected vehicles and replace turbocharger aluminium heat shield with a fibre version. Remove foam noise insulation material from panels. Fit new type noise insulation panels/heat shields as appropriate.

Certain fixed and flexible braking system air pipes may chafe on the heater pipes and the heater mounting bracket in the vicinity of the rear axle.
Fix: A service engineer from East Lancs Coachbuilders has visited the operator concerned and re-routed and re-bracketed the subject brake pipes to ensure adequate clearance between them and other components.
