For certain vehicles the ISOFIX mountings may have inadequate weld seams at the attachment points. In the event of a vehicle crash the forces transmitted through a child seat attached to the ISOFIX anchorages may cause the bracket to fracture resulting in an increased risk of injury to the child.

However if not identified or action to address the issue is not taken it is possible that the window pane could become loose or in the worst situation could even detach.

Fix: Recall all affected caravans to install an improved security device between panes or if the window has failed then replace the defective windows.
