    For affected machines when the front brake is applied whilst riding it is catching the brake pad securing pin. Examination has shown that an incorrect wheel spacer and incorrectly sized caliper holding bracket may have been fitted during manufacture.

    Fix: Replacement of the front wheel spacer caliper bracket and brake pads.

    A bracket fitted under a previous recall has been discovered not to provide sufficient support to prevent shearing of the two securing bolts.

    Fix: Install the stronger mounting bracket support plate and bolt kit.

  6. MILANO FT125T-27-E4 · exhaust mounting bracket bolts might come out

    The rear brake and exhaust bracket may�come into contact with�the road when the rear brake is applied if the securing bolts are to come loose.

    Fix: To immediately stop riding and provide and fit a reinforced bracket with an extra securing point. Additionally provide a locking nut on the back of the securing bolt to help prevent the bolt coming loose.

    The rear brake pads have exceeded the disc and once they have worn to a certain level then the rear brake may become inoperable. The front brake will still work as they are independent.

    Fix: The dealers will be required to change the calliper mounting bracket and brake pads.

  10. HAWK · brakes may fail

    The Combined Braking valve has a rubber washer fitted to a threaded fitment. The rubber washer isn�t suitable for the purpose and has shown signs of allowing hydraulic fluid to pass. If the seal was to completely fail it would result in a complete brake failure. The motorcycle would lose all braking ability which could result in a serious incident.

    Fix: Recall the 225 machines that are likely to be affected and replace the front caliper two way valve brake hose and associated components.
