The rear suspension unit has a possible assembly defect in that the piston-shaft nut has in some cases not been correctly tightened. If a defective suspension unit is fitted there could be an oil leak or a loss of damping control which can adversely affect the handling of the machine.
Fix: Recall the machines that are likely to be affected and rework the rear suspension unit.

The steering damper mounting bracket could fracture due to stress corrosion cracking. Although there is not an issue when the machine is travelling at speed there could be when the machine is being manoeuvred at slow speed or in tight spaces.
Fix: Recall all affected machines and replace the bracket with a modified item.
