It has been identified that the area of the sweeper hopper immediately in front or behind of the tipping brackets can crack/fracture. In extreme cases this could result in the hopper detaching when or whilst being tipped.
Fix: Recall all affected vehicles to be inspected and for the fitment of a reaction beam.

Due to changes in UK legislation vehicles manufactured between October 2001 and December 2004 are required to be fitted with driver and passenger seat belts.
Fix: Recalled vehicles will be fitted with the requisite number of seat belts.

COMPACT SWEEPER · steering column may fail

There is a possibility of the steering column failing. The recall includes the vehicles that have had the steering column replaced under a previous recall notice.
Fix: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the steering column with one that has been tested and certified.
