    Incorrect heat treatment of shock absorber bolt.

    Fix: Replace bolt and check for subsequent damage.

  2. WISHBONE FOR SUZUKI SWIFT 2010 > · ball joint may not be secure

    23 Oct 2017 · RCOMP/2017/013

    A small batch of wishbones may have been manufactured with out a ball joint secondary securing clip. This may allow the ball joint to dislocate from its location. The ball joint is unlikely to separate but without the securing clip ball joint dislocation could have an affect on the steering.

    Fix: Recall affected wishbones and replace with a new version which will have the secondary securing clip.

  3. WISHBONE LH - KCA6275 · possibility that steering control may be lost

    The defect affects specific front lower suspension arms designed to fit Mazda 3 and Mazda 5. The arms may develop a stress fracture which may allow the outer ball joint to detach. This may cause the driver to loose control.

    Fix: Replace affected arms.
