    Welds on the axle that retain the cast arms for the suspension mounting might not be to specification and if they fail could cause loss of forward motion and directional control.

    Fix: Recall the trailers that are likely to be affected to replace the axles.

  6. 21224778 SUSPENSION DAMPER · suspension damper concern

    The top and bottom rubber bush assemblies can become detached from the suspension damper body. In the worst case the damper could separate from the vehicle whilst it is moving.

    Fix: Recall the affected trailers check the alignment of the anchorage eye bushes. Fit oversize washers to both sides of the damper bushes if alignment is correct. Replace all dampers found to have misaligned bushes.
