The Actia instrument cluster the dash has been programmed with the incorrect software. This may result in the driver not receiving any warnings regarding defects within the vehicles brake system as the software will not illuminate warning lights indicating brake system fault codes. This could in extreme cases result a reduction in braking efficiency.

Fix: Recall all affected vehicles and reprogram the Actia instrument cluster the dash.

On vehicles fitted with the General Motors L18 petrol/gasoline engine it is possible the retaining clip for the fuel rail pulse damper may not have been correctly heat treated. This could result in the retaining clip fracturing without warning which will not retain the damper and allow pressurised fuel to spray onto the engine. If an ignition source is present it may cause an engine bay fire.

Fix: Recall all affected vehicles and replace the fuel rail damper retaining clip.

It is possible that the piston in the foot (Service) brake caliper (Bosch) may stick in the applied position. If this occurs then it is possible that the front brakes may overheat which could cause the brake fluid to boil and result in reduced braking efficiency.

Fix: Recall the affected vehicles and replace the caliper with a new Bosch unit.

On vehicles equipped with 75 or 100 gallon dual-fill fuel tanks the unused fuel-filler cap assembly was produced with a hose of the incorrect material. During normal usage the hose material may deteriorate which can result in a fuel leak. This can result in a risk of fire or depositing fuel onto the road surface.

Fix: Recall all affected vehicles and replace the fuel-filler cap assembly.
