Neoman Bus recalls

There is a possibility that the air suspension carrier frame on the front axle may tear at the connection (bolting) to the axle. Therefore if not checked and rectified it may effect the security of the axle which may effect the steering characteristics.

Fix: Recall the affected vehicles to check the connecting bolts between the carrier frame and axle.

A reinforcing plate might have been omitted from the air bellow carriers during production. As a result the carrier may crack which if allowed to progress will lead to instability at the rear of the vehicle.

Fix: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary replace the bellows carrier with a quality assured component.

It has been identified that the possibility exists that the steering track rod arm may contact the brake calliper with the steering on lock.

Fix: Recalled vehicles will be checked for the relevant conflicting parts and if necessary will be fitted with replacement brake pads. It should be noted at this time that the foregoing represents an interim fix.

It has been identified that the bolts on the trapezoidal link to the front and trailing axle may break due to corrosion.

Fix: Recalled vehicles will have the bolts replaced with quality assured items.
