The bolt that attaches the damper to the upper suspension arm may loosen and in extreme cases fracture.
Fix: Check the torque of the front and rear suspension damper attachment bolts and tighten or replace as appropriate.

Vehicles operating in high corrosion areas may experience fracture of the front suspension road springs. A broken spring may in exceptional circumstances damage the inside wall of the tyre.
Fix: Change the original springs for quality assured repalcements.

The steering gearbox securing bolts may not have been tightened in the correct sequence. This could result in relaxation of the retaining torque at the pinion end with a reduction in steering precision and the possibility of stiffness
Fix: Recall the affected vehicles and remove the steering box pinion end bolts one by one to check the condition of the threads Any bolt showing signs of thread damage will be replaced and in all cases the bolts will be retightened in the correct sequence
