    It is possible that one or more of the mounting bolts fitted to the cross bar of the folding seat may not have been installed correctly. In a collision this could affect the structural integrity of the seat.

    Fix: Contact owners and have the seat bolts checked. If found to be incorrect then the bolts will be replaced by a dealer.

The convertor has now established that the seat frame manufacturer has supplied seat frames with the incorrect specification fixing kit which mean that the current installation does not meet type approval. More over they are concerned that if a vehicle was involved in a collision the seat occupants may not be correctly restrained.

    Fix: Recall all affected vehicle for the fitment of the correct seat frame fixing kit.
