2361 BRAKE DRUM · possibility of wheel attachment
12 Jul 2013 · RCOMP/2013/003
It is possible that the wrong amount of protection lacquer has been applied to the brake drums. This could allow settlement of the road wheel during use. This can cause the loosening of the securing bolts which could result in the detachment of the road wheel.
Fix: Recall all affected axles inspect and if require replace the brake drums.

16 Jul 1996 · RPT/96/002
As a result of a small dimensional error the Bowden cable which actuates the braking system could detach. Should this occur the braking system would fail to operate.
Fix: The affected caravans are being recalled to have the subject cables replaced with quality assured versions.

AKS2000 · cracking of caravan stabiliser

500 vehicles · built 1 Jun 1993 to 28 Feb 1994
1637 BRAKES · possibility of brakes locking on
10 Nov 1992 · RPT/92/002
On a limited batch of caravan axles there exists a possibility of the expander clutch disengaging from the brake shoes. This is due to the introduction of a modified shoe which offers slightly less engagement with the expander clutch. Should the problem occur it may cause the brakes to bind or lock.
Fix: Recall the affected caravans for examination and rework as necessary. Where modified shoes are fitted the existing clutch will be replaced with a modified version. Additionally all boxes of replacement brake shoes will contain a warning that they must be fitted with the latest expander clutch.
