Kubota recalls

An issue with the front axle of certain Kubota M6 tractors (the “Concerned Units”) has been identified whereby cracks may cause the axle to malfunction or break during normal operation. This may cause the front wheel(s) to detach and/or significantly affect steering.

Fix: Kubota intends to replace the front axles of the Concerned Units. Additionally customers with Concerned Units that are equipped with front axles with more than 800 hours of use are advised to stop using their tractor until the front axle has been replaced.

Kubota has identified that due to poor tightening of the bolts and nuts that connect the front suspension arm and the ball joint some of its utility vehicles RTV-X1110 may present a safety issue whereby a wheel could detach and the vehicle could become inoperable.

Fix: Inspect if any bolts or nuts are damaged replace the related parts with new ones if damaged. Tighten all to the specified torque.
