    Some tyres may be affected by a manufacturing variation that can lead to a lack of adhesion within the tyre carcass components.

    Fix: All the 255/60R18 112V Cooper Zeon 4XS Sport Tyres that were produced during week 36 of 2022 (DOT case 3622) and week 37 of 2022 (DOT code 3722) must be exchanged.

    Following endurance testing it has been established that separation of the breaker to casing ply may occur. This can be identified by a bulge in the tread area however if the separation is not identified then loss of air may result. This could affect control of the vehicle and in extreme cases result in a collision.

    Fix: Recall affected tyres and replace them with quality assured replacements.

    Following endurance testing it has been established that separation of the breaker to casing ply may occur. This can be identified by a bulge in the tread area however if the separation is not identified then loss of air may result.   7. 75R16 COOPER DISCOVERER S, LT285, T · tyre deflation may result in loss of directional control

    It has been identified that the subject tyres have failed to comply with the requirements of 49CFR 571.139 S6.3.2 (a) in that the test tyre developed a bulge in the lower sidewall on the whitewall side which indicates the presence of a separation between the two lower sidewall components. Should this go undetected loss of inflation medium may occur which can result in a loss of directional control.

    Fix: Owners of the recall subject tyres will be contacted; and the tyres replaced.

    It has been identified that a low tread gauge in the shoulder slot area could lead to cracking at the base of the shoulder slots. This could result in exposed belt wire and accelerated belt degradation which could result in separation.

    Fix: Customers are to be contacted and the subject tyres changed free of charge.
