BRUTALE 800 DRAGSTER RR · fork axle carrier with excessive play of wheel clamping screw
18 Jul 2018 · RM/2018/026
Due to a production error there may be excessive play in the axial clamping screw on the forks. This could lead to a loss of control. THE MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDS NOT TO RIDE THE MACHINE UNTIL THE RECALL IS COMPLETED.
Fix: On affected machines check the threaded holes in the axle carriers with a special tool. If the nonconformity is present the fork leg with a defective axle carrier will be replaced.

F4 RC · the floating piston in the front brake master cylinder may crack
29 Jan 2018 · RM/2018/003
A manufacturing defect exists in a production batch of front brake master cylinder components which MV AGUSTA has installed on a series of F4 RR and F4 RC model motorcycles. The defect in the front brake master cylinder could cause it to malfunction during normal use of the motorcycle leading to a loss of front braking ability and increasing the risk of a crash. Specifically crack generation on the front brake master cylinder PPS (polyphenilene sulphide) piston connecting the internal pressure area to the external surface. The consequence is that the front brake may not participate in stopping the bike properly. The rear brake is not affected and works correctly.
Fix: Replace the synthetic piston in the front brake master cylinder with one made from aluminium machined from solid billet guaranteeing a higher strength material as well as eliminating the possibility of porosity.

BRUTALE 800 DRAGSTER RR · defective rear wheel rim can allow spokes to loosen and cause the wheel to fail
12 Dec 2017 · RM/2017/037
A potentially defective rear wheel rim has been installed on some motorcycles. The rear wheel rim has spokes that may become loose and eventually cause the wheel to fail. If the spokes are loose or become loose the wheel may react abnormally causing the motorcycle to wobble when ridden thus increasing the nsk of an accident.
Fix: Recall the seven possibly affected machines and replace the rear wheel rim.
