  1. AVENGER · electronic brake system (ebs) module

    6 Aug 2026 · R/2025/276

On some vehicles the Electronics Stability Control (ESC) warning light and the relative warning message may appear on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) and the ESC may deactivate. In the worst case the vehicle could lose controllability when braking due to Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) not being available.

Fix: Replace the Electronic Brake System (EBS) Module.

    1 vehicles · built 14 Jun 2024 to 21 Jun 2024

  2. CHEROKEE · two speed power transfer unit failure. loss of power.

    26 Jun 2026 · R/2026/138

Affected vehicles may have been built with an improperly seated input shaft snap ring on the power transfer unit (PTU). An input shaft snap ring that is not fully seated may allow uncontrolled movement of the input shaft inward which can cause an unexpected loss of motive power or loss of PARK function while stationary. A loss of motive power can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning. A loss of PARK function can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning and/or injury to others outside the vehicle.

Fix: Install modified software in the Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM) and the PTU to detect and monitor for excessive wear within the PTU. If a PTU failure is confirmed by the software the PTU will be replaced.

  3. AVENGER MHEV · fuel particulate filter pressure pipe

    6 Apr 2026 · R/2026/114

On affected vehicles due to a production nonconformity there may be contact or a reduced clearance between the fuel Particulate Filter pipe and the pole protection cup of the 48V Belt Starter Generator. Under wet conditions there is a possibility that this insufficient clearance may lead to water infiltration creating an electrical arc which could trigger a thermal event such as overheating. In the worst-case scenario this could result in a risk of fire in the engine compartment.

Fix: Replace the pole protection cup of the 48V Belt Starter Generator. In addition check the distance between the fuel Particulate Filter pipe and the pole protection cup of the 48V Belt Starter Generator. If the distance is less than 10 mm re-position the pipe or replace the pipe if damaged.

  4. WRANGLER · passenger airbag inflator

    20 Mar 2026 · R/2026/130

In the event that the airbag is activated excessive internal pressure may cause the inflator body to rupture and metal fragments may pass through the cushion material causing injury to the vehicle occupants and / or in worst cases a fatality. The concern is caused by moisture in the air getting past faulty seals and being absorbed by the pyrotechnic biscuits in the inflator. As a result it is more likely to occur sooner in areas of high humidity and high temperature difference.

Fix: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the passenger front air bag module which includes the inflator.
